Vision and Values...

Where we are going and how we are getting there

Our Vision

Our Vision as a local Church is to be an instrument in the hands of the Lord to fulfil His purpose.

To influence and affect the society in which we live and work.

To see a large Church across Basildon of God's redeemed people gathered together, properly taught and cared for, loving and serving the Lord and each other and being a blessing to the community, moving in the power of the Holy Spirit, using the gifts of the Spirit and Worshipping God with all our hearts and drawing on the Ephesians 4 Gifts and Ministries.

Our Values

We want to see believers baptised in water, baptised in the Holy Spirit, learning to use their gifts to build up the whole body of the Church.

We want to see believers enjoying the grace of God, that is, freely receiving His love without condition or obligation, confident that salvation is a gift which cannot be earned.

We are committed to the Bible as the revealed Word of God. It is the basis for everything that we teach and the guidance for our lives both individually and in our life together. We love it, honour it and teach it, expecting the Holy Spirit to apply it to our lives, changing us so that we become more like Christ. Ever moving forward in our love and knowledge of God.

We understand the Church to be an extended family that cares for the needs of one another. Family life, marriage and good parenting are highly valued, protected and nurtured.

We believe worship is an expression of our devotion to God, in which every believer participates, in song, prayer and gifts of the Spirit. In every meeting, small or large, our first concern is to enjoy God's presence and to offer Him our love and thanks. Our worship may be expressed with clapping, dancing, silence or kneeling, as well as singing.

We hold as values...

Magnify- To celebrate God's presence in worship
Mission- To communicate the Gospel of Jesus Christ
Membership- To bring people to commitment in the Family of God
Maturity- To disciple God's people and teach His Word
Ministry- To see each person demonstrating God's love Through ministry
